As well as standard print, we also offer the following range of more specialist print processes.
All print is available to both trade and non-trade customers and can be used in conjunction with any of our standard print and finishing services.
Large Format
We offer large format in sizes up to A1. Print is available in black, colour and white – but not foil unfortunately. Single or double-sided prints are possible, with the most popular option seeing the printed sheet mounted onto thick board. We currently use a 3mm mount board but can offer thicker if required.
We can also digitally die cut large format prints, so if you wanted an arch, circle etc. that is absolutely no problem to do.
handmade envelopes etc.
Not strictly a “specialist” print process other than we make all these lovely bespoke products to order!
So any product, including handmade envelopes (and envelope liners), favour boxes, header cards, tags, place names etc. etc. can be printed using any of the print processes listed on our website.

blind Embossing
Like hot foil, blind embossing uses heat and pressure to create a blind, raised, impression and works best with more blocky fonts or images and with slightly thinner card (around 270gsm is perfect).
As you’ll see from our illustration, blind embossing really does add an extra “wow” dimension wherever it is used!
Foil embossing
Foil embossing is the most decadent of all the foiling styles. To achieve this look, a fluted brass plate is required which gives the raised foil impression. Prices for this type of plate start at £100 + vat so it is a rather expensive option but does give the most amazing results.
We’re happy to discuss the process in more detail as it requires careful consideration in terms of font, card, file type etc.
Acrylic
We offer acrylic (frosted & clear) in both large format and standard sizes with black, colour and white print available.
We can also hot foil acrylic in sizes up to A5. Not all foil grades are suitable for use with acrylic so if you did want a particular shade, let us know so we can double check if it will work.
Please note that lead times for acrylic are slightly longer than standard print so do factor this in when ordering.
MDF Letters & Numbers
We offer 3mm MDF letters & numbers in sizes ranging from A7 up to A1.
These can be supplied plain, ready for you to decorate, or printed.
You can use any font for your letters and there is no minimum order.
As with acrylic, please allow a little extra time when ordering due to the production process.
